Desert Collaborative Divorce Blog
Welcome!
The goal of the Desert Collaborative Divorce Blog is to make information available to people who find themselves in the midst of relationship breakup. Information means choices.
We intend to cover a variety of topics and educational resources to create a container for helping individuals and couples to find the best solution for their marital or relationship difficulties. We want to help you avoid the devastating financial and emotional consequences of reactivity.
As you can see, we are still under constructions. In the meantime, please visit the Riverside County Family Law Blog.
We have two other sites that may be of interest:
MindfulDivorces.com
and DesertDivorceandFamilyLawyer.com. Those sites presently have more information about the mechanics and legal aspects of divorce, legal separation, and family law generally than this site.
Our desire is to provide a forum for presenting information from the lips of an experienced family law attorney and also from contributing mental health and other professionals. We want to influence and inform you about your choices and to help make legal consumers a force for change by restructuring what clients look for in lawyers so that the clients have a greater involvement and control in a process that is - after all - all about you! Lawyers will respond to the felt needs of clients when clients take a role in defining the goals and expectations of the process. We hope to offer alternatives to the reactive choices that people, quite naturally, often initially consider.
