Gambling problems stress marriages and frequently lead to separation and divorce.  In the Coachella Valley, with several Indian casinos operating 24/7, the opportunity to become addicted to gaming is acute.

Gary Lange, Ph.D. is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Rancho Mirage, CA.  He holds a National and California Certification as a Gambling Counselor and is Chair of the Training Committee for the California Council on Problem Gambling.  Dr. Lange supervised the Family Program at the Betty Ford Center where he completed his dissertation on the recovery symptoms/patterns of family members.   Additionally he is a Certified Addictions Specialist and has been a professor of Psychology with Cal State University, San Bernardino for the past fifteen years.

Dr. Lange is a highly credentialed and nationally regarded mental health professional who specializes in problem gambling and its effects upon families.  Dr. Lange as an exceptional transitional resource for helping to overcome the burden, destructiveness, and havoc that addictive gambling wreaks.

Extremely passionate in his desire to bring sanity to the lives of chronic gamblers, Dr. Lange regularly presents professionally to numerous governmental entities, businesses, and various organizations.  He was asked by the Korean government this last summer to present on addictive gambling in Seoul.
